
The Biology and Chemistry Study Programs of Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University (UIN Malang) have begun the process of international accreditation by ASIIN (Accreditation Agency for Degree Programs in Engineering, Informatics, Natural Sciences and Mathematics) from Germany. This activity took place over two days, from 26 to 27 May 2025, with the aim of ensuring the quality of education offered by both study programs.
The assessor team involved : Prof. Dr. Carla Vogt (Tecniche Universitat Bergakademie Freiberg), Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Nellen (Universitat Kassel), Dr. Emiline Jerez (Project Manager), Sujadmoko (PT. Roche Indonesia) and Fadilla Nur Rahmah (State Islamic University Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta). with the aim of providing recognition of the feasibility of study programs in the international arena.



The assessor team was received by the rectorate officials before continuing the assessment on the assessed study program. the leaders gave a message that the assessor’s objective assessment could be needed to improve the quality of the study program.
Assessor activities carried out for 2 days (May 26-27, 2025) include assessments related to the curriculum offered by the study program, supporting facilities, and goals that have been achieved. The hope of this activity is to improve the quality of study programs so that they can compete at the global level.




this noble goal can be realized with the consistency of the academic community and stakeholders. the most important impact will come when graduate students feel proud of the quality of learning that has been implemented by UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang.
